Hello evrybody,

Can anybody please tell me what trigger has to be used exactly to stop from entering 'char' values in a 'number' datatype in a 'text' item.I know which code has to written for this but not sure which trigger will do it accurately.
My requirement here is that as soon as a 'char' letter is entered in it an alert should be fired to saying that 'char' values won't be allowed. But not after navigating out of that current 'text item'.

Character by character analysis is a VB or Java thing. Search this forum for 'char number' or 'char numeric' and you will find what the other students did.
