hello every one.

i want to open an excel file , write in it and then sent it ,not as an attach file but sending the excel text as the body of the email message. in forms 6i

like i open the excel , write in it and then press
file -> send to -> mail recipient (not as an attach file).

Search this forum for 'excel' and 'mail'. There are numerous threads, although none (that I know of) that cover both. You will probably have to experiment with 'ora_ffi' or maybe 'dde'.

Google 'oracle dde' and you may find http://mates.ms.mff.cuni.cz/oracle/doc/forms45/at/
