how can i know how many files do i have in a folder and what is the files'name of each other. (by program of course)

Try a 'host' command that does something like 'dir > dir_list.txt' and then use UTL_FILE to open and read this new file. There are options that you can add to the 'dir' (or 'ls') command that will display different information and will order your list, etc.
